Weekdays Late September - End of October.
Matt takes each group on a walking tour of the farm while giving an educational talk. Participants learn interesting facts about pumpkins from planting to picking and learn about the many varieties of pumpkins. They get to see antique tractors and feed and pet our animals. Field trips and the education portion are tailored to the age of the audience. The tour lasts approximately 20-30 minutes depending on age and attention span. After the tour, kids are free to do all of the activities on the farm. Your field trip will be scheduled for a 2 hour block, most groups are here 1.5 to 2 hours.
Field trips include all activities except the Barrel Train, Corn Cannon and the Sling Shot Shooting Gallery.
Small groups may be combined with other small groups to allow more people to enjoy the farm.
2 hour block 9:00am and 11:00am.
Young children must have a chaperone accompany them in the corn maze.
Your group is welcome to bring a picnic lunch and eat during your 2 hour time frame.
Please note, we are not fully staffed for field trips so the Milk Barn Market (our handmade decor and merchandise store) is not open unless prearranged.
Out of season field trips are available and also include an educational tour. RBR is a working farm, so there is always something interesting to see and talk about. Out of season tour content varies and can be tailored to your group’s interest by visiting with Matt.
